Broadcast International hosted a conference call with CEO Rod Tiede on Tuesday, September 9, at 4 p.m. EDT. Discussions included a CodecSys progress update including, but not limited, to recent beta test deployments and future expected milestones followed by Q-and-A.

As broadband connectivity spreads around the world, IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) is beginning to reshape the industry. In 2007, the number of households using telco/IPTV services grew to over 14 million worldwide (Parks Associates, April 2008).
